The foundation was established in 1994 to build and advance the economic, vocational and social standard of the Malaysian communities irrespective of race or religion.
In tandem the foundation programs have been to enhance the socio-economic status of certain demographic groups by developing programs to facilitate their empowerment, be it via direct financial assistance or creating opportunities for business activities via skills and aptitude development.
The foundation also played a role in offering welfare/aid to those who were unable to obtain help for some of their basic needs due to their inability to approach the right people or organizations.
